Supervisory Detective Fort Irwin, California Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Incumbent will serve as a Supervisory Detective located at Fort Irwin, CA Duties Conduct complete investigations of alleged criminal offenses perpetrated by offenders for violations of Federal, state, county, and DA statues, laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations. Investigate theft or damage to government or private property, assault, shoplifting, adultery, unlawful entry, or any other kind of violations. Use special techniques and equipment to collect and preserve fragile or minute evidence when processing the crime scene. Maintain surveillance over suspected persons or areas which experience a high incident of crime. Supervise subordinate detectives and military police personnel. Assign investigative tasks for completion by subordinates and directly supervises the completion of investigative or other law enforcement related tasks.
