Supervisor Training Instructor (Information Management) Fort Sam Houston, Texas Summary About the Position: This position is located at U.S. Army Medical Center of Excellence, located Fort Sam Houston, San Antonio, Texas. US Army Medical Center of Excellence is located in beautiful and historic San Antonio and is within easy commuting distance of desirable neighborhoods and excellent school systems. Duties Serves as Chief, Information Management Training Branch. As such supervises a group of employees engaged in training instruction for information management and information systems. Incumbent is the principal staff officer responsible for current operations and contingency planning for all related Institutional Digital Education Plan (IDEP) activities. Responsible for a wide range of complex time-sensitive operational and emergency actions initiated by higher, adjacent, or subordinate directorates. Reviews AMEDD IDEP plans and prepares revisions or directs revisions/update by appropriate action agency. Serves as subject-matter expert and consultant in computer science and information systems for the Army Medical Department.
