About this role
SOCIAL SERVICES ASSISTANT Multiple Locations Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. We accept applications on an ongoing basis; qualified applicants will be considered as vacancies become available. Duties Coordinate care for Soldiers to assist in accessing the appropriate level of mental health care. Develop support caseload as directed by the clinical mental health providers. Maintain communication with Soldiers and provider on a weekly basis, or more frequent basis as directed. Ensure achievement of developed treatment goals through facilitation, negotiation, procurement, advocacy, communication, empowerment, quality care, and involvement with patients. Maintain connectivity with case managers to assure follow-up plans are carried out. Utilize automated healthcare systems to input and monitor patient data. Document all interactions, appropriate issues pertinent to the soldier's case as directed by the Behavioral Health Provider. Maintain ongoing comprehensive supportive care with identified high-risk soldiers during treatment. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been
