About this role

Recreation Assistant (Lifeguard/Pool Operator) NF-02 Fort Sill, Oklahoma Summary This position is located at Fort Sill Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Aquatics. This is a Regular Part Time position (20hours) with eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. The initial cut-off date for this vacancy announcement is 05/26/2026. Additional applications will be referred as vacancies occur. Duties Performs lifeguarding duties and limited management functions by directing the operation of the pool and the work of assigned lifeguards. Ensures the safe operation of the pool, it's filtration system, water balance, pool chemistry and performs water test. Ensures that safety rules are followed and is responsible for teaching aquatic swimming and water survival training. Keeps accurate records and adequate supplies.
