Mobile Equipment Operator Supervisor Fort Bragg, North Carolina Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoW Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as an Mobile Equipment Operator Supervisor providing and maintaining training facilities for Range Operations. Duties Plans and supervises the use of workers, equipment, facilities, and materials on a day-to-day, project-by-project, and long-term basis. Evaluates progress of work to ensure quality and quantity meet standards. Ensures operational maintenance of range roads, grounds, facilities, targets, and related training support services for field range training conducted by military personnel and others. Conducts and supervises the repair of different types of heavy and light equipment. Conducts and supervises the repair of existing parts or making replacement parts for the machinery and equipment on ranges (e.g., targets). Inspects operation of machinery and equipment to ensure they are properly maintained and productively operated. Supervises and directs the oversight of employees assigned to a work team. Establishes deadlines, priorities, and work sequences, planning work assignments based on general work schedules, methods, and policies set by superiors.
