About this role
Materials Products and Equipment Inspector Boerne, Texas Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial & Major Range and Test Facilities Base to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Perform quality depot inspections required to verify compliance with preservation and packaging requirements and create automotive reports, accountable for classified and sensitive material and other hazardous materials. Duties Operate forklift to move, store, and load items to be shipped. Inspect, pack, and certify regulatory compliance with applicable DOT regulations for all hazardous material shipments. Perform dimensional and visual inspections of pallet cargo.
