Material Examiner and Identifier Supervisor Texarkana, Texas Summary About the Position: Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot's enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. For more information on Red River Army Depot, go to the following web site: http://www.redriver.army.mil. Duties Interpret instructions guides such as plans and blueprints for specific procedures. Ensure that work is completed in accordance with established practices and standards. Plan work assignments considering work involved, availability of manpower and equipment deadlines. Assign material examining and identifying tasks to be performed by other employees led. Clarify instructions to other employees for completing work assignments. Demonstrate proper work methods to other employees. Education Some Federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
