About this role

Maintenance Mechanic Leader Fort Bragg, North Carolina Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as working leader of 3 or more employees in 9 accomplishing trades and labor work. Duties Lead and work alongside personnel working, setting the pace in any of the following trades and crafts areas. Performing various gas welding processes, electric arc/inert gas shielded, gas torch, manual, and/or a combination of processes to weld all types of commonly used metals and alloys of various sizes, shapes, and thicknesses. Construct, install, modify, alter, repair, and replace all sheet metal components of buildings and structures used in support of mission activities. Plan and complete projects from initial layout to final assembly or installation. Repair, overhaul, replace, and install all types of key locks in or on building structures, to include key in knob, rim mortise, switch, mail boxes, cams and pad locks.
