Health System Specialist (EFMP) Falls Church, Virginia Summary About the Position: Serves as the Exceptional Family Member Program manager supporting a Medical Readiness Command in the U.S. Army Medical Command. Position is located at Falls Church, Virginia. Duties Plans, directs, and controls the overall administrative operations of the Exceptional Family Member Program and Family Member Travel Screening. Tracks medical screening failures, identifies trends, and coordinates with Department of Defense Education Activity and TRICARE. Trains Exceptional Family Member Program and Family Member Travel Screening personnel on Department of Defense, Army, and Defense Health Agency policies; conducts staff assistance visits and inspections for compliance. Performs staff officer duties including authoring regional policies, responding to congressional inquiries, and presenting to various audiences Plans and assigns work to subordinates, evaluates performance, handles disciplinary measures, and interviews/selects candidates.
