Crane Operator (TC-H) Rufus, Oregon Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: Serves as a journey level Crane Operator at a power project and is responsible for the safe operation of any and all of the cranes located at the project for construction, operational maintenance, and repair purposes; and handling of materials and equipment. Duties Perform preventive maintenance check of machines prior to operation and makes minor operation adjustments, reporting repairs required to worker in charge or repair shop. Prepare hazard control plans, critical lift plans, drafts safe clearance orders, and attends and participates in regularly scheduled safety meetings. Perform Worker in charge or lead craft duties as assigned.
