Budget Analyst Stuttgart, Germany Summary This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service. About the Position: The Budget Analyst, GS-0560-12 is located in Vaihingen, Stuttgart region on Patch Barracks performing various budget functions involving the formulation, justification, and execution of budgets for organizations, programs, or projects. Duties Analyze headquarters program and budgetary guidance. Identify requirements short-falls and trade-offs and prepare appropriate supporting documentation. Allocate funds to individual activities/functional areas based on an analysis of activity budget estimates, historical expenditures, projected workload, and approved funding. Provide local budget policy and procedures, budget formulation assumptions, and format and schedule service organizations for budget submissions. Receive approved fund targets for assigned accounts. Review, analyze, edit, and consolidate budget submissions. Formulate and justify a segment of the command budget, and a major segment of the organization budget or a total budget for one or more funds.
