Animal Caretaker (Riding Stables) NA-04 Fort Huachuca, Arizona Summary This position is located at MWR Buffalo Corral Riding Stables on Fort Huachuca, AZ.. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. This announcement has Subsequent referrals that will be sent to the Hiring Manager. This will occur weekly. The first cut-off date for this position will be June 10th2026. Then every Wednesday thereafter until all positions are filled. Duties Instructs patrons of a recreational facility in horsemanship, applying practical knowledge of equestrian activities. Assist with individual rentals, boarding, group events such as pony circles, organized trail rides, youth horse camp and special public events. Promotes interest in programming by making presentation to units, schools and interfacing with other recreation activities. Monitories activities for services to determine the budget process for financial accountability of the program. Conducts riding lessons, organizing group events and horse camp for children. May assist with feeding, care of horses, basic maintenance repairs of riding equipment, and trail rides. May operate vehicle to deliver horses to special events. Performs other duties as assigned.
