About this role

Airfield Manager Katterbach, Germany Summary About the Position: This position serves as the Airfield Manager aligned under the USAREUR G-3 AVN with primary supervisory and management responsibility for the operation of assigned Army Heliports. Duties Plans, coordinates, manages and executes day-to-day airfield functions to accomplish and ensure the most efficient and effective operation. Serves as principal staff advisor and liaison on airfield matters. Supervises, coordinates, and directs a workforce of military, civilian and contract personnel who are engaged in all airfield functions. Coordinates and schedules preventive and operational maintenance and surveys / evaluations of the airfield (grounds, structures, utilities, aircraft movement surfaces and facilities). Provides oversight of the Air Traffic Control Facility and NAVAID maintenance. Education There are NO education requirements for this position (Experience cannot be substituted with Education).
