About this role

The primary purpose of this position is to be the tractor operator expert, supervising and performing the most difficult aircraft moves. To accomplish the repositioning and moving of various types of PDM aircraft (B-52's, E-3's, B-l B's, KC/RC 135's, C-130's, and E-6's) in rework hangars and other various airframes and offload/load flight safety equipment (-21). Duties Operate and supervises specialized heavy-duty tow tractors where maneuverability is restricted, and accuracy is critical Tractor operators must perform the most difficult aircraft moves. Inventories Life Support equipment (-21) upon arrival and departure of PDM aircraft. Operates diesel/gas/electric powered forklift trucks capable of lifting loads weighing less than 15,000 pounds as high as 168 inches. Utilizes Safety Practices.
