SECURITY SPECIALIST (TRAINING SPECIALIST) Rickenbacker AFB, Ohio Summary This National Guard position is for a SECURITY SPECIALIST (TRAINING SPECIALIST), Position Description Number D2161000 and is part of the OH 121 Air Refueling Wing, Ohio Air National Guard. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the subject matter expert in managing the SF Squadron program to include Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) deployments, formal training programs, and readiness and emergency management. Duties As a SECURITY SPECIALIST (TRAINING SPECIALIST), GS-0080-9, you will perform the following duties: 1. Reviews all operations, mobility, contingency, and exercise plans to ensure combat readiness for the SF Squadron. Analyzes exercise and contingency plans to determine required SF actions in support of mission requirements. Evaluates all equipment, manning and training requirements to meet wartime, contingency, deployment, and pre-planned tasking. Coordinates with other base organizations on applicable plans. Manages the development of plans for deployment, disaster preparedness, base recovery, contingency response, and other related plans. Prepares, updates, and reviews the SF portion of the base deployment, disaster preparedness, base recovery, contingency response, and related plans. Coordinates plans and annexes with SF supervisors. Initiates changes, modifications, additions and deletions to personnel and equipment tasking and assignments through the SF Commander for approval. Identifies deficiencies develops, and implements plans for increasing mission readiness. Ensures the SF unit meets requirements for wartime capability and AEF requirements. 2. Responsible for proper security, classification, and storage of classified documents. Compiles information by identifying shortfalls and recommending corrective actions to Defense Readiness Reporting
