About this role

SAFETY AND OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH MANAGER-DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY Multiple Locations Summary Veteran's preference does not apply to DHA recruitment. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as the ranking supervisory occupational safety and health specialist responsible for developing and executing the Wing's Ground Safety program. Duties Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Safety Office ensuring the Occupational Safety Program complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time. Represents the safety Office with a variety of installation and function area organizations. Functions as a recognized technical safety consultant and authority in the safety analysis of occupational workplace operations and systems spanning a broad spectrum of exoctic chemicals and materials and highly complex and hazardous situations.
