About this role

The primary purpose of this position is to provide analytical input and recommendations on workforce-related policies and guidance to support Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) activities and organizational effectiveness, and performs continuous appraisal of the utilization of work-related policies and guidance in accomplishing objectives and goals. Duties Duty 1: Designs and conducts comprehensive studies to improve efficiency; identifies, proposes, and devises innovative policies and guidance. Monitors and evaluates the implementation of accepted policies and procedures. Keeps managers informed of work-related initiatives for an effective management program. Prepares and presents briefings to managers on study findings and recommendations. Duty 2: Develops and recommends programs and processes to achieve strategic goals and objectives. Provides substantive analytical input to help align workforce-related goals with mission requirements, budget, manpower, and statutory constraints. Develops and recommends workforce-related objectives that support efficient organizational structure and mission execution. As required, leads project teams to analyze and coordinate workforce-related initiatives within the division or directorate. Conducts comprehensive management studies of work-related resources issues and problems to identify solutions that can be effectively and efficiently integrated into short and long-range work-related resources planning efforts. Duty 3: Serves as a key analytical advisor on proposed organizational or workforce-related changes, such as reorganizations or realignments.
