About this role
Prevention Specialist Multiple Locations Summary Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below for IMPORTANT additional information. The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance to specialists addressing integrated primary prevention activities to effectively prevent negative outcomes associated with sexual assault and harassment, family violence, workplace violence, suicide, and alcohol abuse/misuse prevention. Duties Performs developmental assignments to assist with implementation of all aspects of integrated prevention program planning of prevention activities for the installation. Performs developmental work assignments to implement, maintain, and provide assistance wit the development of CAT/CAB materials. Conducts special assignment in keeping with the formal training plan. Education Any individual who was awarded a degree by an institution of higher education from a PUBLIC or other non-profit institution not more than two years before the date of appointment meets the basic eligibility requirement to apply for the DHA Recent Graduates Program; OR Any individual who has completed a period of obligated service in a uniformed service of more than four years and was awarded a degree by an institution of higher education from a public or other non-profit institution not more than four years before the closing of this announcement meets the basic eligibility requirement to apply for the DHA Recent Graduates Program. You MUST provide transcripts to support your educational claims. Education must be accredited by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
