LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 5) Louisville, Tennessee Summary THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 5), Position Description Number NGDT5903000 and is part of the TN 134th ARW Air National Guard. Duties As a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, GS-0346-09, you will review and evaluate all operations, deployment, contingency and exercise plans to ensure mission readiness for the Logistics Readiness Squadron. Develop, manage and control Logistics Readiness Squadron training and career development programs. Compile and update status of Logistics Readiness Squadron, to include tracking and reporting of personnel, training, equipment and supplies. Coordinate, develop and administer management training programs for supervisory personnel. Develop local training programs to accommodate supply procedural changes, and coordinates changes to other career field areas as directed, to improve operational effectiveness when management indicators reflect potential trouble areas. Perform other duties as assigned. Education Education Requirement: None In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: GS-09 SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE: Applicants may substitute the following education for the required experience, provided it demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to do the work of the position: possess a master's or equivalent graduate degree, LL.B, J.D., or have completed two full years of progressively higher graduate level education leading to such a degree.
