About this role
LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST-NH-0346-02T03 - DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY Multiple Locations Summary Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below to view Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information. The primary purpose of this position is to provide logistics program oversight and support to the Directorate. Conduct analysis to evaluate logistics work processes to ensure mission effectiveness and compliance with logistics policies and directives. The full performance level (target broadband level) for this position is NH III. Duties 1. Works with the senior specialist and/or project/program manager for a specific weapons system, subsystem, or program, analyzes installation and MAJCOM planning and programming documents to determine the nature and scope of acquisition efforts. 2. Participates in the development and coordination of assessment criteria, indicators and procedures for measuring system/equipment performance, and sustainment effectiveness on a continuing basis, and for major decision points in the lifecycle of systems/equipment. 3. Participates in contract administration ensuring compliance with contractual and funding processes and procedures used in the development and delivery of products and services. 4. Represents the senior logistics management specialist and higher-level officials at command conferences to advise on current and future status of the program.
