About this role
INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (NETWORK SERVICES/CUSTSPT) Travis AFB, California Summary Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below to view Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as an Information Technology (IT) specialist and quality assurance evaluator responsible for the Air Mobility Command (AMC), Air Combat Command (ACC) Telephone Operator Consolidated Call Center (TOCCC) enterprise located at Travis AFB. Duties Administers the base local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) for the AMC/ACC TOCCC enterprise. Maintains inspection control and surveillance over the Telephone Switchboard Operations service contract. Summarizes results of evaluations of contractor's performance and provides documented results to recommend payments or negative incentives as required. Determines customer requirements and assists customers by recognizing and analyzing trends and providing instruction and orientation services. Provides customer technical assistance and support. Conducts feasibility studies to identify and analyze network failures and analyzes data to determine if trends exist which forecast the need for future replacement or modification of network hardware and software.
