HEATING VENTILATION AIR CONDITIONING MECHANIC Holloman AFB, New Mexico Summary Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below to view Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information. The purpose of this position is to install, maintain, repair, and modify large/complex HVAC/R systems and boiler systems, including computer room/equipment air conditioning, humidifying, dehumidifying, air cleaning, filtering, balancing, circulating critical systems and support equipment including distribution lines and electronic control systems. Duties - Troubleshoots a variety of HV AC/R systems to include large commercial, industrial refrigeration, air conditioning systems and supporting equipment with complex problems and extensive repairs requiring judgment to locate malfunctions. - Installs, repairs, and maintains large commercial and industrial ventilation, refrigeration, air conditioning (AC), and cooling systems with complex problems and extensive repairs. Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment. - Installs, modifies, overhauls, repairs, and maintains a variety of complex heating boilers and/or heating systems, single and multiple fuel power boilers, steam heating boiler systems and associated auxiliary and pollution control equipment. Installs, modifies, overhauls, repairs, and maintains a variety of complex air compressor systems for low and high pressure applications, and associated drying equipment. - Plans, lays out and installs a variety of large complex commercial and industrial systems and supporting equipment used to condition air in warehouses, shops, hangars, and large office buildings from electrical/electronic wiring diagrams, schematics, technical orders, blueprints, drawings, electrical/plumbing codes, and work orders. - Performs essential and incidental electrical
