EQUAL EMPLOYMENT SPECIALIST - DIRECT HIRE AUTHORITY Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio Summary The primary purpose of this position is to serve as HQ AFMC principal advisor for both the Affirmative Employment Program (AEP) and the Disability Program (DP). This position is responsible for developing and managing a comprehensive program to ensure EEO for all civilian personnel. This position champions a comprehensive command climate by proactively identifying and eliminating barriers to the life cycle of employment opportunities through annual data-driven analysis. Duties Serves as HQ AFMC Affirmative Employment Program (AEP) and Disability Program strategic program manager. This role is responsible for the architecture and execution of AFMC's AEP and DPM functions. Establishes, evaluates, and directs the long-range strategic AEP and DPM goals, ensuring full alignment with DAF guidance, federal laws, and AFMC's mission. Performs data analytic responsibilities. Functions in accordance with Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) MD-715 Equal Employment Opportunity Program. Collects AEP data from a variety of sources to include, but not limited to, DCPDS and BLS. Analyzes, interprets, and provides summarizes on a variety of data and statistics for purpose of developing, conducting, or participating in studies and/or key leadership briefings or reporting requirements. Participates in special initiatives, studies, projects and affirmative employment activities. Assists in development and oversight of affirmative employment plans, preparation of annual reports and conducting barrier analysis and/or EEO Advisory Committee meetings.
