About this role

Base is located in a high cost of living area. The primary purpose of this position is to install, check-out, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform production inspector duties for complete missile/special weapons electronics operational system(s) consisting of numerous complex integral components. Duties - Installs, modifies, overhauls, maintains, troubleshoots, calibrates, and repairs a complete missile/special weapons operating system consisting of numerous complex integral components. - Sets up, operates, troubleshoots, and repairs software controlled automatic test equipment (ATE) to test and troubleshoot complex electronics components and systems. - Uses and maintain hand tools such as screwdrivers, drills, wrenches, soldering irons, pliers, wire cutters, wire strippers, crimping devices, soldering irons, und micro-soldering units. - Utilizes safety practices and procedures following established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean work environment. - Performs Maintenance Control Officer, Assistant Maintenance Control Officer, and Maintenance Control Officer Advisor duties as part of the Squadron's countdown team.
