About this role
AUDITOR Multiple Locations Summary Click on "Learn more about this agency" button below to view Eligibilities being considered and other IMPORTANT information. To serve as a developmental level professional auditor. This is a formal Air Force intern position, established under the PALACE Acquire (PAQ) program; as such, it is centrally managed and funded by the Air Force Personnel Center, Civilian Career Management Directorate and administered by the Audit Career Program. Duties -Performs a variety of routine taskings in the areas of audit planning, research, scheduling and coordination. Gathers and reviews background information on organizations to be audited to develop an understanding of their programs, structures, policies, objectives, financial systems, and internal controls. -Performs a variety of routine tasks involving auditing of Air Force activities and Programs. Carries out portions of standardized audit tasks assigned to higher-level auditors. Performs complete routine audit tasks under very well established conditions when no problems are anticipated. -Performs a variety of routine tasks in the areas of audit data analysis, preparation of conclusions and recommendations, preparation and coordination of reports, and presentation of conditions. Analyzed gathered data by applying established government auditing methods and techniques. -Carries out special projects designed to further the intern's training and development. Assignments are in keeping with the formal training plans to include administrative assignment to develop knowledge of the mission and functions of the Audit community.
