The primary purpose of this position is to serve as Civil Air Patrol - United States Air Force (CAP-USAF) Commander's Liaison Officer (LNO) to First Air Force (Air Forces Northern) (1AF)AFNORTH), providing executive level advice and analysis to both CAP-USAF and AF(AFNORTH) leaders. Duties Serves as a senior advisor/analyst performing liaison support assignments for Commander, Civil Air Patrol - United States Air Force (CAP-USAF) to the Commander, 1AF(AFNORTH) Commander. Senior representative of CAP-USAF LNO element in 1AF (AFNORTH) Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC), 1AF (AFNORTH) Contingency Action Team (CAT), Civil Air Patrol and 1AF (AFNORTH)/CONR Joint Personnel Recovery Center (JPRC). Senior advisor to Commander CAP-USAF on 1AF (AFNORTH)'s matters. Flight Operations. Operates small, single engine, fixed-wing aircraft in support of CAP-USAF duties. Education KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: Mastery of advanced management and organization principles and practices along with a comprehensive knowledge of DoD planning, programming, and budgeting regulations, guidelines and processes.
