Student Trainee (Information Technology) Guam, Guam Summary For more information on the Department of Justice and the United States Attorneys' Offices, visit http://www.justice.gov/usao As needed, additional positions may be filled using this announcement. The ideal candidate must be willing to relocate to Guam or reside within the local commuting area if they are not already a resident of Guam. The hourly pay for a GS-4 is $17.88 plus a 11.88% cost of living allowance (COLA). Duties Major Duties and Responsibilities: Provides routine support to computer/information systems users such as assisting in troubleshooting routine and recurring problems. Performs routine assignments to provide computer/information system support to the organization, to include using computer/information system support to the organization, to include using computer software applications to produce reports, presentations, briefing materials, legal/courtroom aids, data products, and other items as needed. Participates in providing user training on routine hardware, software, and internet applications. Assists in maintaining and controlling equipment inventories. Assists in maintaining IT systems security documentation. - Uses establishing procedures to manipulate and present data in various formats for use in litigation. Assists in assembly and disassembly of computer equipment for meetings and conferences. Assists with litigation support projects. Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress. Education All academic degrees and coursework must be completed at an institution that has obtained accreditation or pre-accreditation status from an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education in order for it to be credited towards qualifications.
