About this role

Grants Management Specialist Washington, District of Columbia Summary The primary purpose of this position is programmatic and fiscal oversight, planning, development, implementation, and assessment of grant programs that address drugs, violent crime, and community policing, in the policies, procedures and information management systems used by criminal and juvenile justice agencies at the state, tribal, and local level. Duties The duties and responsibilities for a GS-1109-Grants Management-11/12/13 generally include, but are not limited to, the following: Provide assistance in the administration of a grant portfolio. Serve as technical expert in the compliance monitoring of grants and/or cooperative agreements. Prepare summary statements for management to conduct analysis of grants related to procedures and internal controls to develop guidelines. Complete the end-to-end grants and/or agreement administration process. Design and/or develop grant solicitations for grants and/or cooperative agreements. Education For this position at the grade levels GS-12 and GS-13, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone. No substitution of education for experience is permitted. If you are relying on your education to meet qualification requirements, please see the statements below. Education must be reviewed and certified by an accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, in order for it to be creditable towards your qualifications.
