Deputy Director National Coast Guard Museum New London, Connecticut Summary This vacancy is for a GS-0301-14, Deputy Director National Coast Guard Museum located in the Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, COAST GUARD MUSEUM DIVISION -CG-09241 in WASHINGTON, District of Columbia. Duties You will serve as the Deputy Director at the National Coast Guard Museum and be responsible for providing organizational leadership and overseeing the overall administrative management of the museum, including implementation of strategic objectives and organizational initiatives. Being a Coast Guard civilian makes you a valuable member of the Coast Guard team. Typical work assignments include: Developing, coordinating, and executing policies and procedures affecting Museum operations. Coordinating strategic planning for the Museum and working with department heads to establish long-range goals and plans. Establishing and maintaining cooperative and effective working relationships within the museum departments. Collaborating with the Director to handle communications and scheduling of meetings with senior Coast Guard leadership. Developing, analyzing, and evaluating new or modified program/management policies, regulations, goals, or objectives. Supervise all administrative areas.
