About this role
Business Operations Branch Chief Arlington, Virginia Summary This announcement is issued under the Direct Hire Authority (DHA) to recruit for positions for which there is a critical hiring need. Selectee(s) will receive a career or career-conditional appointment in the competitive service and may be required to serve a one-year probationary period. Duties Typical work assignments include, but are not limited to: - Providing oversight and strategic guidance on high profile DHS projects concerning national interest. - Directly responsible for and managing programs for workforce development plans and budget forecasting. - Assigning and planning critical work priorities to subordinates; preparing and implementing IT business strategies. - Communicating and establishing IT technology continuity that impacts operational functions for stakeholders. - Providing guidance to customers about applicability of information systems to meet business needs. - Applying knowledge and expertise of CyberSecurity programs to achieve desired goals for the department. - Developing and maintaining cybersecurity plans, strategy, and policy to support and align with organizational cybersecurity initiatives and regulatory compliance. Requirements You must be a U.S. citizen.
