The incumbent serves as the Supervisory Advanced Practice Nurse (Psychiatric) and is responsible for the overall clinical management and delivery of behavioral health services throughout the facility. Oversees clinical care delivery and staff performance, including supervision, consultation, and case review for interdisciplinary teams, while serving as a subject matter expert in complex mental health and co-occurring disorders. Evaluates and improves program effectiveness, developing and revising policies, implementing quality improvement initiatives, analyzing performance data, and ensuring services meet professional and accreditation standards. Provides direct psychiatric patient care, including comprehensive assessments, DSM-5 diagnoses, medication management, psychotherapy, and coordination of care for adolescents and families. Supervises and mentors staff and trainees, supporting professional development, ensuring licensure compliance, leading team meetings, and fostering collaboration, education, and high-quality clinical practice.
