Supervisory Accountant New Orleans, Louisiana Summary This position is part of the Office of the Project Manager, Strategic Petroleum Reserve, Department of Energy. As a Supervisory Accountant, you will be responsible for providing technical direction, guidance, and advice to team members, other Division staff, stakeholders and executive management, on major decisions, recommendations and actions which have a direct and substantial effect on the overall financial operations of SPRO. Duties The Department of Energy's mission is to ensure America's security and prosperity by addressing its energy, environmental and nuclear challenges through transformative science and technology solutions. The Office of the Project Manager, Strategic Petroleum Reserve office works to advance the President's goal of filling the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR) to its maximum capacity and maintaining drawdown readiness throughout management of the SPR program.
