About this role
SUPV IT SPECIALIST (NETWORK) Hill AFB, Utah Summary This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command. It is in the Professional Work Category at the Senior Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA - OC/DISA GLOBAL OPERATIONS COMMAND, Plans & Programs Division (DG523). Duties Develop and implement work schedules to ensure an even flow of tasks, prioritize urgent cases, and meet deadlines, while revising schedules as needed to accommodate changes in workload or project requirements. Assign work to employees based on factors such as assignment difficulty, employee qualifications, and available resources, while ensuring tasks are completed to acceptable quality and quantity standards. Set performance standards, evaluate employee performance, and take appropriate corrective actions as necessary. Approve or disapprove leave, manage grievances, and recommend promotions or disciplinary actions. Coordinate with representatives from other branches or organizations to align priorities, procedures, and work objectives. Participate in meetings to resolve issues and exchange technical information related to both Authorized Service Interruptions (ASIs) and Contingency Exercise (CONEX). Formulate and implement training plans to ensure employee skill development to ensure accurate position descriptions.
