Supervisory Nurse (Administrative/Ambulatory) Fort Drum, New York Summary About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. This position is within the Family Medicine Department at Guthrie Army Health Clinic at Fort Drum, NY. A recruitment or relocation incentive may be authorized. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service. Student Loan repayment may be authorized. Duties Oversee the scope of practice and provision of nursing services within the ambulatory clinic. Advise the senior leadership on nursing matters; review, recommends changes, and assisst in the development of regulations, procedures, and other matters. Serve as a clinic nursing subject matter expert and performs direct patient nursing care as needed. Promote and maintain good public relations, both internal and external to the hospital. Provide oversight for the day-to-day management of assigned nursing personnel within the health clinic. Evaluate work performance of subordinates; give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both technical and administrative matters. Education See Qualifications section for education requirements.
