Supervisory Medical Records Technician Fort Sill, Oklahoma Summary About the Position This position is located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Duties Direct and supervise full time Medical Records Technicians. Instruct subordinates in specific tasks and job techniques. Recommend the maintenance and/or replacement of equipment. Prepare formal evaluations of employee performance. Select personnel from list of eligible applicants. Aide in determining and establishing policies pertaining to medical records. Maintain current knowledge of outpatient record administration and keep Department Head, Patient Administration Division (PAD), informed of Outpatient Records Section issues. Ensure the timely retirement of records IAW current DHA Instructions. Recommend maximum utilization and the allocation of space within the department to promote an orderly flow and maintenance of records and documents. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
