Respiratory Therapist (Polysomnography) Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii Summary About the Position: This position is located within Tripler Army Medical Center in the Directorate of Medicine, Department of Medicine Cardiac Catheterization Lab services in Honolulu, Hawaii. Medicine. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Duties Prepare and monitor patients during polysomnographic tests. Interpret data obtained from tests to organize and prepare completed patient charts. Prepare, calibrate, interface, and operate all equipment used in polysomnographic procedures. Participate in continuing in-service education programs. Apply electroencephalogram (EEG) electrodes, electro-oculogram (EOG), electromyogram (EHG) and electrocardiogram (ECG) and ensure patient comfort and proper function. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
