Medical Support Assistant (OA) Tripler Army Medical Center, Hawaii Summary About the Position: This position is located in Honolulu, Hawaii at Tripler Army Medical Center in various departments. Tripler Army Medical Center is a tobacco-free workplace. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to, smoking, smokeless tobacco, and electronic nicotine delivery devices. Duties Receive patients and visitors as the initial point of contact in person or telephonically. Enter, manipulate, and/or retrieve information and data from various automated systems. Resolve complaints of a local administrative nature and refer other complaints to appropriate authorities. Maintain both electronic and paper patient records. Coordinate and/or schedule patient appointments with various clinics or at other medical treatment facilities. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
