FOOD SERVICE WORKER LEADER Camp Pendleton, California Summary About the Position: This position is located at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, with Defense Health Agency, San Diego Market. Duties Ensure that all recipes, supplies, utensils, and expendable supplies are available to support items by daily requisitioning supplies on appropriate forms. Answer workers' questions regarding procedures, policies, written instructions, and other directives (e.g., technical orders). Check work in progress and/or upon completion. Check for compliance with supervisor's instructions on work sequence, procedures, methods, and deadlines. Obtain needed information and/or decisions from the supervisor on problems that come up during the shift. Provide information to supervisor on status and progress of work, causes of delays, and overall work operations and problems (e.g., additional on-the-job training requirements for individual employees). Assure that safety and housekeeping rules are followed. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
