Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (Computed Tomography) Fort Riley, Kansas Summary About the Position: This position is located at Fort Riley, Kansas. This is an open continuous announcement. Multiple vacancies exist and may be filled from this announcement at any of the locations listed. AART (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification preferred This is a Direct Hire Authority solicitation Duties Perform highly sophisticated computerized axial tomographic (CT) scanning of heads and/or bodies. Review all requests from physicians and other health care providers independently. Maintain record of examinations performed, scans taken, contrast reactions, contrast usage, etc. Assure that sterile supplies, contrast materials, catheters and other required equipment are present and laid out. Prepare and administer contrast material (IV). Perform a wide variety of highly complex magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations of human subjects to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease or injury. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
