About this role

Diagnostic Radiologic Technician Fort Bragg, North Carolina Summary About the Position: This position is located at Womack Army Medical Center, Fort Bragg, NC. This position requires rotational shift work to include holidays, weekends and on call as needed. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation Duties Perform a variety of complex and difficult radiographic examinations. Review requests from physicians and other healthcare providers for examinations. Explain procedures to patient and/or family. Administer oral and intravenous contrast material in accordance with universal precautions. Position equipment and patient for optimal imaging. Ensure supplies are in adequate stock for the department. Provide assistance with on-the -job-training of new employees and student personnel. Develop and process radiographs. Perform daily preventative maintenance procedures on the radiographic/ fluoroscopic imaging equipment and report malfunctioning timely. Enter data regarding patient history/ radiographic procedures into service data \bvase. Education FOREIGN EDUCATION: If you are using education completed in foreign colleges or universities to meet the qualification requirements, you must show the education credentials have been evaluated by a private organization that specializes in interpretation of foreign education programs and such education has been deemed equivalent to that gained in an accredited U.S. education program; or full credit has been given for the courses at a U.S. accredited college or university.
