About this role
Supervisory Fish and Wildlife Administrator Multiple Locations Summary This position is located in the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service's (NMFS) Headquarter's and Regional Offices [Greater Atlantic Regional Fisheries Office (GARFO); Southeast Regional Office (SERO); West Coast Region (WCR); and Office of Protected Resources (OPR)], with vacancies in each listed location. Duties This position is also announced under vacancy number NMFS-26-12979368-ST, which is open to Status Candidates. You must apply to both announcements if you want to be considered for both. As a Supervisory Fish and Wildlife Administrator, you will perform the following duties: Supervise and manage personnel in setting organizational objectives, delegating work, developing plans, supporting personnel needs, addressing concerns, and structuring long-term staffing needs. Provide strategic program guidance in the development and execution of short and long-range projects supporting the implementation of natural resource management policies, such as the Endangered Species Act, the Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation Management Act, and the Marine Mammal Protection Act, etc. Serve as an office representative in coordination with internal and external partners to help inform Federal decision-making in conserving, recovering and protecting living marine resources and their habitats.
