Director, Workforce Strategy and Design Management Division Alexandria, Virginia Summary This position is located in the Workplace Strategy and Design Management Division of the Office of Administrative Services, the functions of which are outlined in Agency Administrative Order AOO-1. The incumbent serves as Division Director of Workplace Strategy and Design Management, with broad authority and responsibility for organizing, directing, and evaluating the programs and activities of the Division. Duties The physical worksite for this position is located in Alexandria, Virginia. Presence at the Alexandria, VA campus is required for this role, as it includes on site functions that must be performed in person. Position may be eligible for situational telework in accordance with agency policy/business unit discretion. The agency currently allows for 52 hours of telework per calendar year. The position is perfect for you if: You enjoy a position that plans, directs, and coordinates all facets of the program including the investigation, acquisition, preparation, utilization, and termination of space. You are seeking a role that provides technical advice and assistance in establishing and implementing programs, plans, procedures, and financial reporting systems for managing, enforcing, and administering provisions contained in the GSA and USPTO leases for all USPTO-occupied buildings. You would like to serve in a capacity that initiates actions to be taken in the event of disputes with building lessors as the result of the lessors' failure to deliver services, maintenance, and utilities required by the lease.
