Key responsibilities include formulating and executing logistics strategies, supervising logistics personnel, and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain to achieve the company's operational objectives and satisfy customer requirements. Key Responsibilities: Logistics Strategy and Management: Develop and implement logistics strategies to achieve business goals and enhance operational efficiency. Oversee logistics operations to ensure the timely and cost-effective transportation, warehousing, and distribution of goods. Distribution and Delivery: Ensure efficient and timely distribution of products to customers. Develop and implement strategies to improve delivery performance and customer satisfaction. Process Improvement and Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance logistics efficiency. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs, improve service levels, and increase productivity. Leadership and Team Development: Lead and mentor the logistics team fostering a culture of high performance and professional development. Ensure the logistics team has the skills and resources necessary to support the company's objectives. Transportation Vendor Management: Manage relationships with 3 rd party carriers, and truckload logistics providers, including reviewing contracted rates and fees, disputing invoices and tracking repair viability.
