Our satellites operate in Low Earth Orbit to collect sunlight and enable a new class of capabilities-from powering on-orbit compute, to transmitting energy via infrared lasers (space-to-earth and space-to-space), powering on-orbit compute to delivering secure, high-bandwidth optical data. We're moving quickly to solve complex technical challenges and build a new category of space infrastructure. About the Role : Cowboy Space is looking for a Mission Manager. Our Mission Manager will serve as the mission specialists, driving results and challenging the status quo. Our ideal candidate has a passion for finding solutions, is a highly detail-oriented self-starter, and is hungry to do work that matters. This role is located onsite in San Carlos CA. Responsibilities: - Drive program execution by managing schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables - Drive mission execution across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment between engineering, operations, leadership, and external stakeholders - Lead problem-solving efforts by identifying risks, gathering the right stakeholders, driving decision-making, and ensuring timely resolution of complex technical and operational challenges - Build and manage integrated mission schedules, resource
