AV CAD Designer Salt Lake City, UT, USA AV CAD Designer Salt Lake City, UT, USA Posted Monday, May 18, 2026 Summary: As an AV Designer on the Display Engineering Team, you will document the design requirements for complex AV systems-integrating cutting-edge LED, projection, image generation, and audio technologies that power best-in-class immersive experiences in Cosm Venues and customer systems. Responsibilities: Produce 2D diagrams and AV design documentation using Vectorworks ConnectCAD. Develop system drawings (block diagrams, single-line, schematics, As-Built, etc.). Communicate requirements clearly to field and installation teams. Collaborate with field service, engineering, and manufacturing teams to refine designs and implement updates. Coordinate with mechanical engineering for design alignment. Streamline complexity by creating efficient workflows and documentation practices. Ensure designs align with overall engineering direction. Apply industry trends, standards, and best practices to all work. Support the Sales team in identifying pre-sales project requirements. Perform other related duties as assigned Experience: 2 to 4 years' experience in AV design and documentation. Degree in Audio Engineering, Audio Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technology field or equivalent experience Proficiency in Vectorworks/ConnectCAD; ability to generate clear documentation from models. Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills. Familiarity with LED, projection, and audio technologies is a plus. CTS or CTS-D certification a plus. AutoCAD and/or Fusion proficiency a plus. Experience with Microsoft Visio a plus. Read More Req# 913
