About this role

Sr. Measurement Systems Engineer Taichung Role Purpose Join the technical team to develop and deploy state-of-the art measurement and process control (both hardware and software) in support of early stage, pilot and high-volume manufacturing for cost reduction, process improvement, technology transfers and expansion projects. Maintain and advance knowledge in the state-of-the-art application of measurement technologies to the design of equipment, process/product prototyping, and factory automation. Key Responsibilities Design and development: Develop optical system, automatic optical inspection and laser systems for products such as fiber optics, lenses, display technologies, or imaging devices. Perform simulations and modeling of optical systems using tool like Zemax, TracePro, or imaging optics, similar software. Conduct feasibility studies to ensure design meet performance and reliability requirements. Test and implementation: Work on integrating optical and laser technologies into applications, develop prototypes and proof-of-concept designs to demonstrate the functionality. Migrate to manufacturing with cross function team such as mechanical, advanced control, software team. Collaboration and innovation: Work closely with cross-function team and communicate technical findings and progress to stakeholders through reports and presentation.
