NÜ Metal is CoreWeave's Hardware New Product Introduction (NPI) team, a multidisciplinary group of mechanical, thermal, electrical, and power engineers that takes new GPU and server platforms from early concept through validation, integration, and large-scale production across our data centers. The team bridges hardware design, manufacturing partners, and data center operations to de-risk new platforms early and ensure each new generation of high-density, often liquid-cooled hardware lands in the fleet reliably, efficiently, and at scale. What You'll Do - Own the architecture, design, and evolution of thermals for high-density, GPU-accelerated data centers. - Design, validate, and optimize rack-level and server-level thermal solutions. - Partner closely with data center teams to define end-to-end thermal architecture-from building infrastructure through the rack. - Collaborate with world-class engineers developing next-generation AI/ML hardware platforms. - Advise on data center secondary loop layout, commissioning, and operation - Review and evaluate JDM/ODM thermal designs, including thermal simulations; independently run simulations as needed. - Debug complex thermal
