One California Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Infection Prevention Manager, you will strategically lead and manage comprehensive infection prevention and control programs to safeguard patients, staff, and visitors. Every day you will oversee surveillance, investigation, and reporting of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs); develop and implement evidence-based policies; educate staff; and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You will actively monitor trends, conduct risk assessments, and lead outbreak investigations to promote a robust culture of safety. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate expertise in epidemiology, infectious diseases, and regulatory requirements, coupled with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
