Our full range of medical services includes trauma services, heart and vascular care, emergency services, surgery, maternity, cancer care, and diagnostic imaging. Job Summary and Responsibilities Director Inpatient Nursing-Trauma Departments Bonus Incentive - Up to 15% Location: Creighton-Bergan Medical Center The Director of Nursing oversees all trauma inpatient units and maintains direct operational responsibility for specific departments and programs at the campus: additional direct management and/or consultative responsibilities may be assigned as appropriate to carry out the objectives of the Operations of the specific campus. The incumbent also maintains a matrix management responsibility for all nursing care areas located at his/her assigned hospital regardless of reporting structure and a matrix line to the Division CNO. In addition, the incumbent works collaboratively with medical staff, ancillary services, community leaders and agencies. A key role of this position is to build strong relationships with physicians and employees for CHI Health and to achieve/improve patient experience, and staff engagement.
