Job Summary and Responsibilities As a Tumor Registrar, you will be a central figure responsible for collecting, abstracting, and maintaining comprehensive data on cancer patients, directly contributing to cancer surveillance, research, and improving outcomes for current and future patients. Every day, you will meticulously review patient medical records and diagnostic reports to accurately abstract complex cancer information, assign appropriate codes, and ensure strict adherence to state and national reporting standards.
